# How do I make a carousel template in SyBox?

In SyBox, this is done in Settings > Messaging > Templates. 1) Click "Create template" and in "Kind", choose "Carousel of cards". ## How to make a carousel template

1. Click "Create template" and in "Kind", choose "Carousel of cards". The category becomes Marketing.
2. Write the message above the cards.
3. Choose the "Card header" for all the cards: a picture or a video. Under "Cards (2 to 10)", each card has "Upload a sample", an optional "Card text (160 letters)" and its buttons. Click "Add card" for more.

When you send it, each card is sent with its approved sample picture, or with the picture you choose for it ("Card 1 picture" and so on).

## Questions

**Q: Why was my marketing template not sent to a customer?**

The customer pressed "Stop promotions" in WhatsApp. SyBox records it, the contact panel shows "Stopped promotions in WhatsApp", and marketing templates are no longer sent to them: "This customer pressed 'Stop promotions' in WhatsApp, so marketing templates are not sent to them." Utility and verification code templates still go. In a broadcast these customers are counted as "Skipped (stopped promotions)".

**Q: Why can't I see my template in a conversation?**

It must be APPROVED and "Sendable from chat" must be on. Click Sync to get the latest status.

**Q: Why is there no Edit button on my template?**

WhatsApp only allows editing templates that are Approved, Rejected or Paused. A template that is under review cannot be edited.
