How do I set a welcome, ice breakers and commands in SyBox?

Updated

In SyBox, this is done in Settings > Messaging > Channels (WhatsApp).

How to set a welcome, ice breakers and commands

  1. On the number's card, click "WhatsApp profile, welcome and QR codes", then the "Welcome and commands" tab.
  2. Switch on "Show when a customer opens the chat for the first time": when a new customer opens the chat, before they write, the conversation appears in your inbox with the note "The customer opened the chat". Nothing is sent to the customer automatically.
  3. Under "Ice breakers", click "Add ice breaker" and type a ready question, for example "What are your opening hours?". Up to 4, 80 letters each. The customer sees them in an empty chat and can tap one.
  4. Under "Commands", click "Add command" and fill in "Command (one word)" and "What it does". Up to 30. The customer sees them after typing / in the chat.
  5. Click Save.

A tapped ice breaker or command arrives as the customer's own message, so your automations, chatbots and AI agents answer it like any message.

Questions

"Your number" says "Your display name has not been approved yet. Your message limit will increase after the display name is approved." Does that stop my replies?

No. It is a notice from Meta, shown with a tick. Until Meta approves the display name, the number can start only a limited number of new conversations with templates each day. Replies to customers who wrote to you are not limited by it. If replies do not go out, check the payment method on the WhatsApp Business Account (see above). The display name ("Not set", "Under review") is set and approved in your Meta Business account; your number keeps working while you wait.
